This policy outlines shipping costs, processing times, delivery estimates, and customs requirements for all orders placed on pmctechlife.co.za. We ship to addresses within South Africa only.
Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are included on all orders. No shipping fee is added at checkout. Import duties, where applicable, are separate. See the Customs section below for duty obligations by fulfillment origin.
Order Processing & Cut-off Times
Orders are processed Monday to Friday, excluding weekends and South African public holidays. Our daily cut-off is 2:00 PM South African Standard Time (SAST).
- Orders confirmed before 2:00 PM on a business day begin processing the same day.
- Orders confirmed after 2:00 PM, or on weekends and public holidays, begin processing the next business day.
- Local warehouse processing time: 0–1 business day
- International warehouse processing time: 1–3 business days
Fulfillment Locations & Delivery Times
We use three fulfillment routes depending on the product. The fulfillment origin is indicated on each product page before you add to cart. Delivery times are estimates and may vary during peak periods or due to customs processing.
Local Warehouse (South Africa)
- Total Estimated Delivery: 2–6 business days
- Courier: The Courier Guy
- Tracking: Provided by email once dispatched.
- Import Duties: None. No customs charges apply to locally stocked items.
International Warehouse (Standard)
- Total Estimated Delivery: 6–13 business days
- Courier: Buffalo Logistics
- Tracking: Provided by email once dispatched.
- Import Duties: See Customs section below. DDP applies for orders under R2,000.
International Warehouse (Direct)
- Total Estimated Delivery: 6–13 business days
- Courier: Aramex / DHL
- Tracking: Provided by email once dispatched.
- Import Duties: Customer responsibility on all orders. See Customs section below.
Customs, Duties, and Import Taxes
Local Warehouse (South Africa)
No import duties or taxes apply. These items are already held locally and cleared.
International Warehouse (Standard) — Orders Under R2,000 (DDP)
We operate on a Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) basis for Standard International orders up to and including R2,000. We cover applicable import duties, VAT, and customs clearance fees. The price confirmed at checkout is the final amount. No additional customs charges are due on delivery for these orders.
International Warehouse (Standard) — Orders Over R2,000
For Standard International orders exceeding R2,000, import duties and customs clearance fees assessed by the South African Revenue Service (SARS) are the customer's responsibility. SARS or the courier may contact you directly to arrange payment before release of the shipment.
International Warehouse (Direct) — All Orders
All orders fulfilled via our Direct International channel are subject to import duties and customs clearance fees regardless of order value. These charges are the customer's responsibility. The courier may contact you directly to arrange payment before delivery. This is disclosed on the product page before purchase.
Lost, Delayed, or Undeliverable Orders
If your order has not arrived within the estimated delivery window, please contact us before assuming it is lost. Many delays are resolved at customs or courier level within a few additional business days, though some may take longer.
- Lost in transit: If a shipment is confirmed lost by the courier, we will arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you.
- Customs delays: Delays at SARS are outside our direct control, but we will assist by following up with the relevant courier or clearing process where possible.
- Undeliverable address: If delivery fails due to an incorrect address provided at checkout, re-delivery costs may apply.
